Empowerment Starts with You

empowermentAre you empowering your children?

If I asked you what you’d be willing to sacrifice for your kids, I bet most of you would say a lot. But what if I asked you what you are doing right now to do what you want? Are you fulfilled? I bet your kids dream big, but are you?

The other day my son came up to me and said “Mom, thank you so much for giving me so many opportunities, for teaching me how to build a business and for making me the best dinner.”

That pretty much melted my heart because that is the EXACT reason I decided to build my own health and fitness business. I help change lives so I can help change his life.

Following Your Heart

What would you be doing if you followed your heart?

This is why I LOVE the sunset. No matter where I go, I can look outside and enjoy this amazing work of art.

It’s the constant reminder that no matter where your days take you, good and bad, every single day we get this amazing display of love. Do you see the heart?

How completely awesome that I’ve been able to spend time with my parents in North Dakota more frequently lately and being to inhale absolutely beautiful days with them.

Thousands of miles from my home but the same magnificence of the daily sunset.

I’ve done a lot of reflecting lately. Why was I so fortunate to be chosen for this life? Why do I have a great family? Great kids? A great job? A great support team? Why do I get to work from anywhere? Travel at short notice? Why me?

I followed my heart. I had trust it would work out.

It’s not my job to question it. All I know is that I am worthy to receive it. We all are.

I don’t want you to live with regrets. I don’t want you to wish you could do things you’ve always wanted to do. I don’t want you never take action on your dreams.

There was a time in my life didn’t take time to watch the sunset. I was too busy dreading Monday to enjoy the peacefulness of Sunday.

I am so glad I took a leap to follow my heart. It’s opened up so many doors for me, it’s helped me change lives and restore hope and enrich relationships.

Are you ready to take action on your dreams or are you going to let another pass without experiencing the opportunity you were given.

I want to help you. Let’s chat. Okay?

Learning a New Skill in Your 40s

Motivation Rhonda Guitar lessons

How often do you learn a new skill? I vowed to myself that I would learn to play this guitar that was given to me a gift last summer.

Music has always been really special to me. I grew up playing piano and singing and I still love to sit down and play, but I always had a deep desire to learn to play guitar.

So at age 41, I took my first lesson and I experienced a joy I haven’t felt in a long time. The kind where I can just absorb myself into an art and turn off all the other noise of my busy life.

We don’t ever really hesitate to get our kids started in new hobbies and skills but we never take the time to develop new skills as adults.
