Following Your Heart

 mom dad sunset

What would you be doing if you followed your heart?

This is why I LOVE the sunset. No matter where I go, I can look outside and enjoy this amazing work of art.

It’s the constant reminder that no matter where your days take you, good and bad, every single day we get this amazing display of love. Do you see the heart?

How completely awesome that I’ve been able to spend time with my parents in North Dakota more frequently lately and being to inhale absolutely beautiful days with them.

Thousands of miles from my home but the same magnificence of the daily sunset.

I’ve done a lot of reflecting lately. Why was I so fortunate to be chosen for this life? Why do I have a great family? Great kids? A great job? A great support team? Why do I get to work from anywhere? Travel at short notice? Why me?

I followed my heart. I had trust it would work out.

It’s not my job to question it. All I know is that I am worthy to receive it. We all are.

I don’t want you to live with regrets. I don’t want you to wish you could do things you’ve always wanted to do. I don’t want you never take action on your dreams.

There was a time in my life didn’t take time to watch the sunset. I was too busy dreading Monday to enjoy the peacefulness of Sunday.

I am so glad I took a leap to follow my heart. It’s opened up so many doors for me, it’s helped me change lives and restore hope and enrich relationships.

Are you ready to take action on your dreams or are you going to let another pass without experiencing the opportunity you were given.

I want to help you. Let’s chat. Okay?

Choose Gratitude

Gratitude. We hear that word so often lately. Be grateful.  Be thankful.  Enjoy the little things for someday you will realize they were the big things.  Be kind.  Show appreciation.

It’s at this time of year that we call attention especially to gratitude and thankfulness.  We celebrate it.  We have an entire day to celebrate being thankful.  We have traditions around it.  We share with others why we are thankful.  It makes us feel good.

And then the season passes and we stop being as intentional as about it.  We let the little things creep back in.  We get annoyed by slow drivers or having to wait in line at the grocery store.  We get impatient with our kids.  We often complain to strangers.  We demand things.  We want things our way.
